Barley Soup With Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
    2 c. sliced mushrooms (5 oz.)
    1 c. sliced celery (2 medium stalks)
    1/2 c. quick cooking barley
    1/3 c. sliced green onions with tops
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    5 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Heat all ingredients to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer until barley and vegetables are tender, about 15 minutes.
