Fran'S Ice Cream Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
4 oz. German sweet chocolate
1 stick margarine
3/4 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
8 oz. Cool Whip

Preparation

Combine chocolate, margarine, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla. Bring to boil.
Cook 4 minutes.
Cool.
