Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. (1/2 block) butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. Carnation canned cream
1 pie shell, uncooked
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
Cream butter and sugar together thoroughly.
Add egg yolks and mix well.
Add Carnation milk and mix well. Bake in uncooked pie crust until filling is done, then add meringue on top.
Filling will turn light brown on top. May test for doneness with knife or toothpick.
When it comes out clean, the pie is done.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 325\u00b0.
