Pineapple Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    3/4 c. sugar
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 pkg. Knox gelatine
    1 c. water
    1 c. cream, whipped
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the pineapple, sugar and lemon juice.
    Soak the gelatine in 1 cup of water.
    Add to hot pineapple mixture. Cool until it thickens and add the cream, pecans and cheese.
    Let set in refrigerator until firm.
    Serve on lettuce leaf.
