Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. oatmeal
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and oatmeal, beat well. Add flour, soda, salt and blend.
    Chill dough.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Dip in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
    Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
