Mississippi Mud Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 stick butter
    1 c. pecans
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    For the crust, mix together flour, butter and pecans.
    Press into pie plate.
    Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
    Set aside. For the first layer of filling, mix together cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Spread on cooled crust.
    For the second layer of filling, mix 2 boxes of instant chocolate pudding according to the directions on the box.
    Pour pudding on top of cream cheese mixture.
    Top pie with Cool Whip.
    Chill.
    Serves 8.
