Cathy'S Beef Burgundy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. lean beef
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 onion, quartered and sliced
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. Burgundy
    1/4 c. beef broth
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Cut beef into bite size pieces and brown in oil. Add onions and flour; stir to coat meat. Add wine, broth and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 90 minutes. Remove bay leaf and add mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes. Serve over noodles or rice.
