Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) box strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    2 bananas, sliced
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. sour cream
    1 (15 1/4 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained
    1 (12 oz.) frozen strawberries (reserve juice)
Preparation
    Mix gelatin and water together.
    Add strawberries with juice, pineapple, chopped pecans and sliced banana.
    Pour half of mixture into
    9 x 9-inch
    dish.
    Refrigerate 15 to 30 minutes until set.
    Pour sour cream over chilled mixture.
    Pour remaining strawberry mixture over sour cream.
    Chill until firm.
    Ready to serve.
    Makes 8 servings.
