Coconut And Pecan Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. flaked coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Add the coconut and pecans.
    Beat until thick enough to spread.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups and enough to ice a German chocolate cake.
