Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. yellow cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
1 can Mexican style corn, drained
Preparation

Mix everything just until blended.
Pour into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 425\u00b0 (goes great with chili).
