Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. salt (scant)
    pickles
    turmeric
    dill
    garlic
Preparation
    Heat
    water, vinegar and salt to boiling.
    Pack pickles in jar.
    Add
    1
    large head dill, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and 2 sections
    garlic
    per
    jar.
    Cold pack to boiling point.
    Turn heat off and let stand 5 minutes.
