3 c. Bisquick baking mix
3/4 c. water
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Lightly grease jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch) or cookie sheet.
Mix baking mix and water until soft dough forms.
Gently smooth dough into ball on floured surface.
Knead 20 times.
Pat dough on bottom and sides of pan with floured hands.
Cook and stir beef, onion, salt and garlic until the beef is brown; drain.
Mix the tomato sauce and Italian seasoning.
Spread evenly over dough.
Spoon beef mixture evenly over sauce.
Top with mushrooms, green peppers and cheese.
Bake until crust is golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Makes 8 servings.
