Ham And Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. (1 1/3 c.) long-grain rice, washed, soaked in cold water for 30 minutes and drained
    16 oz. (2 c.) water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 oz. French beans, cut into small pieces, blanched and drained
    10 oz. cooked ham, diced very small
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    4 small spring onions (scallions)
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh coriander
Preparation
    Put rice, water and salt in a medium size saucepan.
    Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
    Cover the pan, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and all the water has been absorbed.
    Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
