Squash Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. yellow squash
1 onion, chopped
1 egg
2 tsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. Mexican corn bread mix

Preparation

Stew squash with chopped onion.
Drain well.
Add egg, margarine, salt and pepper, then stir in corn bread mix.
Drop by tablespoon into hot grease.
Cook until golden brown.
