Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels (#42)
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 German chocolate cake mix
    2 c. pecans
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt first 3 ingredients over low heat until smooth.
    Mix cake mix, following package directions.
    Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
