German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes, cooked and sliced
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
2 hard-boiled eggs
salt and pepper to taste
3 to 4 slices bacon, cooked
1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

To bacon drippings add 1 rounded tablespoonful flour and stir. Pour in vinegar, water and sugar.
Cook until thick, add egg and crumbled bacon.
Pour over potatoes.
Serve warm.
(I often increase the sauce.)
