Deviled Clams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. clams, chopped
4 slices bread
1/2 doz. hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 stalk celery, chopped fine
1 medium onion, grated
6 cooked potatoes, mashed
parsley, salt and pepper
Preparation

Pour clam juice over bread slices and let stand until soft; set aside.
Mix all remaining ingredients well (mixture should be moist).
Put into buttered clam shells or roll into clam cakes. Top with bread crumbs.
Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0.
