Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    6 eggs, separated
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and
    sugar;
    add
    egg\tyolks
    and beat well. Add soda
    to
    buttermilk and add alternately with flour and salt. Stir
    in
    lemon
    flavoring.
    Beat
    egg whites until stiff and fold into other mixture.
    Cook 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
