Apricot Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    12 oz. jar apricot jam or preserves
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, brown sugar and rolled oats.
    Cut in butter until blended.
    Press 2/3 in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread this crust with the jam. Sprinkle on the remaining crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 35 minutes. Cool and cut.
    Makes 24 bars.
