Pound Cake Favorite - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream the butter. Add 2 cups sugars (sift sugars together). Add egg yolks, one at a time.
Beat until well blended.
Mix in flavoring.
Add flour that has been mixed with baking powder. Alternate mixing flour and milk.
Add egg whites that have been beaten to stiff stage; fold into batter.
Pour into cake pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
