Soft Raisin Cookie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Boil raisins in water until water is almost gone.
Cool. Cream together shortening, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
Add to raisins.
Sift flour and soda together and add to cookie dough. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
Makes 5 dozen.
