Poppycock-Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1 c. whole pecan halves
    8 to 10 c. popped corn
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a very large bowl, mix first 3 ingredients and set aside. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and butter and cook to little more than soft-ball stage. Add vanilla. Pour over popcorn mixture and mix well.
    Spread on cookie sheet to cool.
