Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    3 c. grated carrots
    1 tsp. butter flavor
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Beat sugar and egg yolks until light.
    Add oil and beat.
    Mix together all dry ingredients and add to sugar, egg and oil mixture.
    Add crushed pineapple, carrots and butter flavor.
    Add nuts.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes or toothpick comes out clean.
