Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/4 lb. stick butter
    4 very large Red Delicious apples
    vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.
    With a pastry blender, cut in butter until very fine. Pare, core and thinly slice apples.
    Arrange in an 8-inch square baking dish.
    Sprinkle with flour mixture.
    Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven until apples are tender and topping is browned, 30 minutes.
    Serve hot, topped with vanilla ice cream.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
