Orange Pecan Thins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. regular flour
    2 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1/2 c. sugar in small bowl.
    Add egg yolk and vanilla.
    Add flour to mixture along with grated rind.\tMix. Spread mixture evenly over a 10 x 15 jelly roll pan.
    Beat egg white until foamy and then gradually add 1/4 c. sugar.
    Beat until stiff peaks form.
    Spread over base, sprinkle nuts on top.\tBake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
