Apple Betty - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
dash of salt
1/2 c. margarine
Preparation

Peel apples and slice.
Mound them in buttered 9-inch pie pan. Sprinkle with the orange juice.
Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.
Cut in 1/2 cup margarine.
Sprinkle this mixture over the apples.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
