Party Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    60 Ritz crackers, crushed
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    8 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. lemon Jell-O
    8 egg whites, beaten
Preparation
    Crust:
    Crush Ritz crackers and mix with melted butter. Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix and cook the egg yolks, sugar and crushed pineapple until thick.
    Add lemon Jell-O (no water); add the 8 egg whites and fold into pineapple mixture after it has cooled.
    Make 24 hours before serving.
