Hot And Spicy Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/4 c. chopped fresh tomato
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    2 medium cloves garlic, minced
    4 tsp. vegetable oil
    1 2/3 c. water
    2/3 c. raw regular long grain rice
    1/2 tsp. oregano leaves, crushed
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, cook green pepper, tomato and onion with garlic in oil until tender-crisp.
    Add remaining ingredients. Cover; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat to low; cook for 25 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed.
    Stir occasionally.
    Makes 4 servings (1/2 cup each).
    Each serving equals:
    1 Complex Carb and 1 Palate Pleaser.
