Ingredients

1 qt. milk
2 eggs, separated
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. broken saltines
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

While milk is warming on medium heat, beat egg yolks and sugar until frothy.
Add to hot milk and then add crackers and coconut.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add vanilla. Beat whites until stiff and fold into cooked mixture.
