Confetti Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    16 oz. pkg. frozen hash browns
    1 soup can milk
    1 small green pepper, cut into strips
    1/2 c. cheese cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. cheese cracker crumbs
Preparation
    In a skillet melt butter over medium heat.
    Saute onion until tender.
    Stir in potatoes, soup and milk.
    Add cheese, green peppers, pimiento, pepper and 1/2 cup of the crumbs.
    Pour into a shallow casserole and top with remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
