Angel Food Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. sour cream
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    pinch of salt
    2/3 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat milk and cream until foamy.
    Add eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients.
    Combine with the milk and egg mixture.
    Chill for 1 hour.
    Roll out on floured board.
    Cut with doughnut cutter.
    Fry in deep fat.
    As doughnuts rise to the surface of the fat or shortening, turn over often, until done.
