Barbecued Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. ribs
    1 bottle chili sauce
    1 (12 oz.) jar pineapple preserves
    1/3 c. vinegar
    salt
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Place ribs in shallow pan and season with salt and garlic powder.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 about 30 minutes.
    Mix chili sauce, pineapple preserves and vinegar.
    Lower oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 minutes longer.
    Spoon off excess fat.
    Brush mixture on meat and continue to bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes more, basting occasionally with sauce.
