Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 can tomatoes
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 large onions, sliced
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 large green pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven
    to
    350\u00b0.
    In
    a large skillet cook and stir ground beef
    until
    light
    brown; drain.
    Add onions and green peppers. Cook and stir until tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, rice, chili powder,
    salt
    and pepper.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Pour into ungreased 2 quart casserole.
    Cover and bake 1 hour.
