Cheesy Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 large pkg. hash browns
    1 stick oleo
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    8 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 onion, chopped
    salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste
    corn flakes
Preparation
    Melt butter (save 1/2 for topping).
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Top with 2 to 3 cups crushed corn flakes mixed with the reserved butter.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
