Sausage Swirls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sifted plain flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. oil
2/3 to 1 c. milk
1/4 c. corn meal
2 Tbsp. baking powder
2 lb. sausage
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients together.
Blend in oil.
Add enough milk to make soft, stiff dough.
Thinly roll out dough on lightly floured board into 2 rectangles, 10 x 1-inch.
Spread sausage on each rectangle and roll up lengthwise.
Chill or freeze.
Slice in 5/8-inch slices and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
