Granny'S Whipping Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar; mix well.
    Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
    Measure and sift the flour and divide it into 3 parts.
    Alternately, add one part of the flour and some whipping cream until all the ingredients are mixed well. Add the vanilla; mix well.
    Pour the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Test with toothpick for doneness.
