Corn Custard Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 lb. butter (1 block)
    1 (16 oz.) can whole corn
    1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
    3 eggs
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) box muffin mix
    1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation
    Saute onion, green pepper and salt in the butter.
    Combine both cans of corn, eggs, muffin mix and 1 cup cheese.
    Mix with onion mixture and place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Top with remaining cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Serves 6.
