The Best Peach Kuchen - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. peaches, peeled, halved and pitted
    1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 egg
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Cut in butter until mealy.
    (If using food processor, use metal chopping or plastic mixing blade.
    Do not overmix; add butter in pieces and process for 1 to 2 minutes until crumbly.)
    Remove 1/3 flour mixture to small bowl.
    Put remaining mixture over bottom and halfway up sides of 10-[inch quiche pan or 9-inch square pan, making a crust.
