Christmas Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. applesauce
2 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs
3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. maraschino cherries, chopped

Preparation

Mix first 8 ingredients together, blending well.
Add next 4 ingredients and blend well.
Bake in lightly greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Check with toothpick; might need another 10 minutes.
(Good for holiday.)
