Scrumptious Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 c. (1/2 pt.) sour cream
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    3/4 stick margarine
    1 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
    pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in 1/4 stick margarine; add soup, sour cream and cheese until cheese is melted.
    Break up potatoes into small pieces; place in 9 x 13-inch greased casserole.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Pour mix over.
    Melt 1/2 stick oleo; add 1 cup crushed corn flakes to this and spread over top of casserole. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
