Hot German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion, diced
    6 to 8 slices bacon, fried crisp
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Boil, peel and dice potatoes.
    Fry bacon and drain on paper towels.
    To bacon drippings, add onions and saut until tender. Add flour, sugar and celery seed.
    Blend until smooth; add water and vinegar.
    Simmer until thickened.
    Fold in potatoes.
    Crumble bacon and fold in.
    Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes, stirring often.
    Even better the next day!
