Margaret Kalb'S Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed bananas
5 Tbsp. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs just until combined.
Mix in bananas and buttermilk.
Sift together flour and soda and add to mixture.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Pour into layer pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 35 minutes, until cake tests done.
