Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. oil
1 clove minced garlic
3 small onions, chopped
pinch of thyme
1/2 c. tomato puree
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 c. cold water
3 green peppers
Preparation

Cut meat into strips.
Heat oil; add meat and brown.
Add onions and garlic.
Add other seasonings, tomato puree and water. Cover and simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour.
Add strips of green peppers and cook 15 minutes longer.
Serve on noodles or rice.
