Better Than Ever Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1 c. sugar
    1 box Instant Vanilla pudding
    Cool Whip
    1 c. pecans
    1 c. coconuts
Preparation
    Bake cake.
    Punch holes while hot with end of wooden spoon. Boil pineapple and sugar.
    Pour over cake.
    Let cool.
    Layer pudding.
    Mix Cool Whip, coconut and pecans.
    Spread over cake. Let set 24 hours.
