Basil-Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. dried basil or 4 tsp. chopped fresh basil
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; process until smooth.
    Pour into a medium saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring ocasionally.
    Cover.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Yields 1 1/3 cups.
