Corn Flake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. corn flakes

Preparation

Sift together flour, soda, salt and baking powder.
Cream shortening, add sugar gradually and beat until light.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and creamed mixture, add corn flakes.
Drop small teaspoons on greased baking sheet, 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, or until delicately browned.
Makes 8 dozen.
