Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. sour cream
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 pkg. dry taco seasoning (optional)
    8 oz. taco sauce
    chopped green chilies
    chopped tomatoes
    chopped lettuce
    4 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Soften cream cheese and blend with sour cream until smooth and creamy (1/2 package dry taco seasoning may also be added). Refrigerate until firm in 9 or 10-inch pan.
    Spread taco sauce over cheese and sour cream mixture.
    Top with green chilies, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese.
    Serve with taco chips.
