Dip Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. cornmeal
    1 egg, beaten
    1 lb. hot dogs
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cornmeal.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add egg and milk and mix well.
    Dip hot dogs in mixture.
    Cook in deep fat until brown.
