Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. squash (1 qt.)
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. meal
    2 eggs
    1 stick butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender. Mash up.
    Then put everything but 1/2 stick of butter in it.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
    Then pour 1/2 stick butter on top.
    Grate cheese and put on top.
    Melt it in the oven.
