Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 lb.) hen
    1 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. corn
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. butter
    5 or 6 onions or more
    1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Cook chicken until it leaves bone.
    Debone chicken.
    Cut chicken across grain in bite sizes (not too small).
    Add corn, butter and chicken to broth.
    Cook a short time after adding onions.
    Season to taste.
